According to reports from Tanzania, Young Africans Sports club have reached an agreement with former Al-Merreikh SC coach Nasreddine Nabi for the vacant head coach position at the club.
Nabi was fired by Sudan’s side Al-Merreikh last month just three months after his appointment following a stream of poor results in the CAF Champions League. Before his sacking, Nabi was in charge of three CAF Champions League matches where he managed to collect only one point. He was fired immediately following a 0:0 draw with Simba SC.
Nasreddine has worked with several clubs that include PDHA (Pont Donnaz HOme Arnad) in Italian Fourth Tier, Ismaeli SC, Al Ahly Benghazi, and Al Hilal Omdurman. He is known for his sharp eye on young players and formidable 4:1:4:1 formation.
Nasreddine’s first role as Yanga SC coach will be to steer the team to their 23rd league tittle. Yanga SC sit preety on top of Ligi Kuu Bara table with 54 points after 25 matches, two points ahead of defending champions Simba SC who have 3 games in hand.
