Al Hilal have completed the signing of Porto’s forward Moussa Marega.

“In 1991, I was born in the French city of Les Ulis and in the same year, Al-Hilal won their first continental title. These two stories continue to excite and they crossed again in 2020 when Al-Hilal won a hat-trick (of trophies) in Saudi Arabia and I did the same in Portugal, and now in 2021, my next destination is Saudi Arabia, ” he said, referring to his part in Porto’s triumph in the Portuguese League, Cup and Super Cup when he was being unveiled by the Saudi giants.
Marega has scored 52 league goals and 10 domestic cup goals in the four seasons he has been with Fc Porto. in the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League season, he managed to bag 6 goals and this made him the third-joint top goalscorer with Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester City’s striker Sergio Aguero. He has also assisted 33 times in 190 games.
Marega’s arrival in Riyadh is thought to be signalling the end of French’s forward, Bafetimbi Gomis’ time at Riyadh. Gomis became the fastest foreign player to attain the century goal tally (100) for Al Hilal club.
Before moving to Fc Porto four seasons ago, Marega has enjoyed playing time at Portugal’s CS Maritimo, Tunisia’s Esperance Tunis and French Clubs Amiens SC, Le Poire- Sur- Vie VF and Evry Fc.
