“Boniface Onyango suffered a Supra-orbital fracture on the right side of his face after sustaining a trauma in training. He is set to miss the better part of the second leg,” read a statement from the club.
Onyango sustained the injury while he rushed to clear the ball and he clashed heads with a number of his teammates from the training session
He was then rushed to Karen Hospital where scans showed that the fracture was on the right side of his face right besides the eye.
He is scheduled for a second scan on Thursday that will help assess the extent of the injury and how long he will be out for.
