Ronald Namai: Shikanda Hasn’t Kept His Promises To Afc Leopards

Shikanda, on the other hand, received plaudits from the club's stakeholders at the same ceremony where AFC Leopards unveiled Spotika as their new jersey Sponsor.

Ronald Namai, a candidate for the chairmanship of the Afc Leopards, has pledged to fulfill the  undone job, by Mr Dan Shikanda, the current chairman. 

Ronald claims Shikanda has not kept his promises to the club.

In an interview with paulo Mwanaspoti of Base radio ,the ‘’ingwe’’ die hard accused Shikanda for being incompetent while in power.

Paulo Mwanaspoti: How do you rate your current chairman Mr. Shikanda?

Namai: Because he has broken his vows to the club, I can only rank him poorly as my rival. Players would have homes, he claimed. Where are they?

However, the ‘chui’ high office’s current occupant, did not grant players houses. ‘’Getting financial security is another unfulfilled promise,’’ added Namai.

By announcing that Ingwe will start working on their stadium idea, Shikanda also utilized the occasion to announce what appeared to be his manifesto. He also acknowledged attendance of his competitor Ronald Namai.

The chairman stated in an exclusive interview that they intended to utilise the land near Kasarani. Afc leopards were given the piece of land by the late president Daniel Toroitich Moi.

Shikanda has been with the club during a really difficult financial moment which has demonstrated that he is a superb leader, claimed club patron Alex Muteshi.

But chief guest Eugene Wamalwa, the cabinet secretary for defense, has urged democracy to triumph in the upcoming elections.

Cs Wamalwa has also declared that he will work with Cs Lands Faridah Caroney. In order to ensure that the club receives the title deed for the land. Since majority of them belonged to Azimio one Kenyan Coalition party, they received backing from the leaders. George Aladwa of Makadara and Stanley Livondo of Lang’ata were also there.

Ingwe will conduct their elections this Saturday. The chairman position is up for grabs with two candidates. Ronald Namai is competing against Dan Shikanda.
